NMA provided 31 lakh for the relief of Jajarkot earthquake victims

Kathmandu: The Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) supported NPR 31,11,111 (Thirty-one lakh eleven thousand one hundred and eleven rupees) to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation of the Jajarkot earthquake victims.
A dummy check of the amount has been handed over to the Right Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Honorable Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Mr. Sudan Kirati. The amount has already been deposited into the fund. Mr. Nima Nuru Sherpa, President of the NMA; Mr. Thakur Raj Pandey, Senior Vice President; Mr. Mohan Lamsal, General Secretary; Mr. Dhan Bahadur Gurung, Secretary; Mr. Mukti Pandey, Treasurer; Mr. Rajendra Bahadur Lama, Central Secretariat Member; Mr. Diwas Pokhrel, Central Executive Board Member; and Mr. Jinesh Sindurakar, Chief Administrative Officer jointly handed over the dummy check.
The Central Executive Board meeting of the NMA concluded last Sunday had decided to support the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation of the earthquake victims. The NMA has consistently been supported the Government of Nepal and the people of Nepal in times of such emergencies.
